HISTORY
On November 12, 2016, 24 men were initiated into the Theta Xi Interest Group at the University of Maine. Assisting Coordinator of Chapter Development Gerard Agostinello, SUNY Oneonta ‘13, with the initiation were members from the Zeta Pi Chapter at Salem State University. Grand Chapter Advisor Bill Cohen, Marietta ‘66, was present as well as John Blake, Milton ‘60, grandfather of Ben Blake, who was initiated into Theta Xi. The Ceremony took place in Neville Hall on the University of Maine campus.

On the following night, the interest group was installed as the Theta Xi Provisional Chapter and Scott Sleeper, Maine ‘16, was the Installing Provisional Chapter President. The Installation Ceremony took place in the Memorial Union on campus.

Theta Xi Chapter chartered on November 9, 2019.
