HISTORY
On November 19 and 20, 2016, 16 men were initiated into the Theta Upsilon Provisional Chapter at the University of Nebraska – Kearney. Assisting Coordinator of Chapter Development Jon Wray, Bowling Green ‘15, and their Grand Chapter Advisor Christian Warneke, Seton Hall ‘13, with initiation were members from the Zeta Epsilon Chapter at Colorado State University and the Delta Tau Chapter at Murray State University. The Ceremony took place in the Nebraskan Student Union on the University of Nebraska – Kearney’s campus. The following men were present:

Jimmie Rhodes, Murray State ‘07, Jack Bell, Colorado State ‘18, Yerke Serikov, Colorado State ‘18, and Connor Piko, Colorado State ‘15.

On this night, the Theta Upsilon Provisional Chapter was also installed and Nizar Khayat, UN - Kearney ‘17, was the Provisional Chapter President. The Installation Ceremony took place in the Nebraskan Student Union on the University of Nebraska - Kearney campus and the men noted above were also in attendance for this occasion.

In June of 2017, the decision was made to cease operations as a result of Fraternity Staff’s inability to recruit and maintain a high quantity of high quality men. Initiated members of the group were given the option to remain alumni of Alpha Sigma Phi.
