HISTORY
The Theta Kappa Provisional Chapter at North Carolina - Wilmington was started in the Spring of 2016 by Matt Weido, San Jose State ‘13.

The Provisional Chapter chartered on April 22, 2017 and officially became the Theta Kappa Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi. Ceremonies were held on Hoggard Lawn at the University of North Carolina - Wilmington. Theta Kappa was the first fraternity to hold an event on Hoggard Lawn at the University. Undergraduate Grand Councilor Tristin Sweeney, NC State ‘15, led the ceremony with assistance from Assistant Director of Chapter Development, Jay Grothause, Bowling Green ‘10. The ceremony was also attended by alumnus and special guest, Barry Olson, Grand Valley ‘97. Caleb Mabe, UNC-Wilmington ‘16, was the installing Chapter President.
