HISTORY
The Theta Iota Provisional Chapter at Texas State was started in the Fall of 2015 by Kenny Denton, East Carolina ‘11. The Intiation Ceremony was held on November 22, 2015 and was conducted by Jay Grothause, Bowling Green ‘10. The provisional chapter intitated 66 men and the initiation was assisted by Theta Delta (Houston). The Colonization Ceremony was held on December 9, 2015 by Jay Grothhause, Bowling Green ‘10. The founding President was Brett Harp, Texas State ‘15.

The Chartering ceremony occured on September 9, 2017 at the Embassy Suites in San Marcos, TX. Keynote speakers included Grand Coouncilor, Greg Kroencke, Illionis ‘91 and Chapter President, Blake Leclair, Texas State ‘15. Assistant Director of Chapter Development Jay Grothause, Bowling Green ‘10 represented Fraternity Staff.
