HISTORY
The Theta Beta Colony at Averett University was started in the fall of 2015 byMichael Sloboda, Albright ‘12. The Colonization Ceremony was held on November 3, 2015 and conducted by Matt Guldberg, Colorado ‘12. The Colonyinitiated 14 men in their first semester and the initiation was assisted by undergraduates from Virginia Tech. The Founding President was John Jennings, Averett ‘15. 

The group made the decision to close in January of 2019 due to low morale and years of failing to charter with the National Fraternity. Theta Beta initiated 32 members in its brief history.
