HISTORY

Coordinator of Expansion & Growth Henry Calleo, Buffalo ’18, began expansion efforts at the University of North Florida in the fall semester of 2021. Twenty-seven men were initiated into the Kappa Iota Provisional Chapter on November 17, 2021 by Assistant Director of Provisional Chapter Development David Eron, UNC-Asheville ’15. The Provisional Chapter was approved to charter by the Grand Council in April 2023.

Kappa Omicron held its chartering ceremony on Saturday, October 7, 2023. Grand Councilor, Chris Musback, Ohio Wesleyan ’02, gave the Keynote Address and presented the group with their charter. Speakers from the Chapter included VP of Rituals & Traditions Roberto Cruz, North Florida ’21, VP of Standards Justin Moschella, North Florida ’21, and President at the time of chartering Chase Rodgerson, North Florida ’22. The Chapter Advisor, Justin Pace, Murray State ’10, also made remarks. Kevin Finkler, Nevada ’17, represented Headquarters Staff at the ceremony. 

The Kappa Omicron Charter rostered 51 names with initiation years ranging from 2021-2023.
