HISTORY
Coordinator of Expansion Scott McKay, Illinois State ’15, began expansion efforts at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in the spring semester of 2019. 32 men were initiated into the Kappa Gamma Provisional Chapter on April 22nd, 2019 by Coordinators of Undergraduate Engagement Adrian Hernandez, Houston ’15 and Benny Argento, UNC Wilmington ’16.
Kappa Gamma officially chartered on Saturday, April 24th, 2021. The Ceremony was held at the fraternity headquarters in Carmel, IN. President and CEO Gordy Heminger, Bowling Green ‘96, gave the Keynote Address and presented the group with their charter. Assistant Director of Provisional Chapter Development David Eron, Asheville ‘15, represented Fraternity Staff. Brad Gerlach, IUPUI ‘19, was the founding president.
