HISTORY
The Iota Theta Provisional Chapter at East Tennessee State University was started in the fall of 2017 by Coordinator of Expansion and Growth, Michael Stallé, Massachusetts ‘14.

Fifty undergraduate men were initiated into the Iota Theta interest group in November of 2017. On January 23, 2018. the interest group participated in the Provisional Chapter Installation Ceremony. Jordan Rowe, East Tennessee State ‘17, was the Installing President. Andrew Stock, Ohio Wesleyan ‘14, represented Fraternity Staff.

The Iota Theta Provisional Chapter became an official chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi on September 22, 2018. The Chartering Ceremony took place at the Carnegie Hotel. Keynote speakers included Jeff Howard, East Tennessee State University Associate Vice President for Student Engagement and Dean of Students and Chapter President Jordan Rowe, East Tennessee ’17. Past Undergraduate Grand Councilor Tristin Sweeney, NC State ‘15, was the Installing Officer and Chase Stewart, Marshall ’12 represented fraternity staff. 57 names were on the charter.
