HISTORY
In the fall of 2018, Coordinator of Expansion Neal Hoover, Bloomsburg ‘17, began expansion efforts at the University of Central Oklahoma. By the end of the semester, 26 men were initiated into Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity.

On January 29, 2019, the Interest Group was installed as an official Provisional Chapter of Alpha Sigma Phi. Coordinator of Undergraduate Engagement Benny Argento, UNC - Wilmington ‘16, represented Fraternity Staff. Anthony Tabor, Central Oklahoma ‘18, was the Provisional Chapter President at the time of installation.

The Iota Sigma Provisional Chapter had numerous University Code of Conduct allegations and violations as well as Fraternity Guideline violations during their first year. Ultimately, the Fraternity made the decision to close the Iota Sigma Chapter on June 26 as the mission, vision and purpose of the Old Gal was not fulfilled with our current group of undergraduates. The Fraternity is set to returnto UCO in fall 2022.
