HISTORY
Expansion efforts at Georgia Southern University took place in the spring of 2012. After four semesters of stalled progress, Fraternity Staff decided to take the group in a new direction by recruiting new founding fathers. In the fall 2014 semester, Assistant Director of Undergraduate Engagement Cory Ryan, Wake Forest ‘10, conducted a membership review and re-organized the group. He recruited a total of 32 men who went through a Pledge Ceremony in September of 2014.

Eta Mu officially chartered on August 27, 2016. The Ceremony was held at the Russell Student Center on Georgia Southern’s campus. Brother Mike Waters, Oregon State ‘73, was the Keynote Speaker and Danny Miller, Alpha Epsilon Pi, represented Fraternity Staff.
